The Dwarf Jade with its soft, fleshy leaves and woody stems is originally from the regions of South Africa. It can grow up to 10ft. with thick branches and succulent leaves. It is considered the tree of prosperity.

    The Mini Jade tree is an indoor plant and must be kept indoors during winter months. Temperatures should not drop below 40 °F (5 °C). This tree requires a lot of natural light or full sun, so place near a window with plenty of exposure. You will know your tree is getting enough light when its leaves develop that red edge around the tips of its leaves.


    Jade trees are in the Succulent family and can hold plenty of water in their leaves. Water sparsely and allow the tree to dry out a bit between watering. During winter months watering can be done once every 3 weeks if temperatures are closer to 40 °F (5 °C). As always make sure when watering to drain completely before setting back in its home.

    Organic solid slow-release fertilizer pellets work best. Fertilize your tree once a month, spring through autumn, during the growing season. 

    Because the tree is in the succulent family, it retains water in its branches and leaves, making it heavy and naturally bending the truck and branches. It response well to pruning regularly as it forces it to grow more branches. Be careful as the bark is soft and susceptible to rot on open wounds.

    The jade is strong when its watered correctly and is receiving enough sunlight and care. You should not experience any issues with its health. Leaves tend to get wrinkly when it is lacking water and the tree gets heavy when too much water is an issue. Not enough light will cause discoloration in leaves.

    If there are any issues upon your plant’s arrival, please feel free to contact us immediately. Any damages or concerns must be made within 24 hrs. of receiving your plant. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us within 1 week of receipt in same condition in which you received it. Take pictures of packaging and item with reason for return. Include packing slip and materials “as is” to receive replacement or exchange of same type and quality of plant purchased. Due to the eclectic varieties, some items are irreplaceable as they are one of a kind. We will try our best to accommodate you. However, a 35% restocking charge will be applied when items are purchased in error and returned to us for credit or an exchange.

    There are no refunds on gift cards or personalized gifts. Trees over $100 are specimen trees and are one of a kind as there are no others like it in age, shape and artistic form. If you purchased a specimen tree and it arrives damaged or sick, you must contact us immediately so that we can intervene and do everything we can to save it. After shipment has been received within time allotted, the buyer resumes all responsibility on any health problems or damage to the tree.

    We go above and beyond in caring for your plants trip. Plants ship in the best possible way to reach you alive and well. Before shipping, all the following is done:

    • All plants are given plenty of water to retain moisture during transit
    • Each pot is wrapped to contain materials and moisture
    • Each plant is packed in a larger box than its size to give it room for package material on all sides – Peanuts, corrugated paper shreds
    • In some cases, the pot might be taped or secured to the sides of the box to prevent the weight of it to damage any limbs

    Refunds exclude gift wrapping, service charges, shipping and handling. Tracking numbers are issued to insure safe delivery. Any lost items are the responsibility of the shipping company. We will try our best to help with lost items.
